

Carl Frederik Aagaard was a Danish landscape painter born in 1833 in Odense. He studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and was influenced by the renowned artist Peter Christian Skovgaard. Aagaard's works often depicted tranquil Danish forests and coastal scenes, capturing the serene beauty of nature. He exhibited widely and was honored with the title of Professor in 1892. Aagaard passed away in Copenhagen in 1895, leaving behind a legacy of peaceful and evocative landscapes.
