Nicky Litchfield
As a child Nicky spent her weekends and summers at her grandparents farm, and it was there that her love of animals began. Now, Nicky paints from her studio in the picturesque village of Hurst Green in the Ribble Valley, and can often be found out-andabout sketching with her companion, Max the dog, by her side. Traditional subject matter such as hares, foxes, hounds and livestock are at the heart of her paintings, which she creates mainly in pastel. With a playful use of line and colour she produces delightful, contemporary artworks full of character and charm.
