Her technical skill as a painter combines with an in-depth knowledge of plants gained from her mother, a keen botanist and gardener.

She is a prolific oil on canvas floral artist who exclusively shows her work in a small handful of galleries around the country. Whilst she began her working life as a nurse, a move to Cornwall in 2000 gave Marie the opportunity to begin painting full time. A perfect place to take her inspiration from with lots of stunning seascapes and hedgerows. Although more recently, her love of travelling has found her spending more time in the French Alps.
